The Herd

Does in our herd....

Penny Smokey Penda Begonia

This group displays some of the interesting things that are happening with color in Angoras. In order: Penny is a solid black, Thumbelina is a solid red, Smokey is grey - mixed fibers that vary from white to blue-grey. Penda is a badger pattern with multiple colors of grey, tan, black and white. Begonia is a reverse-badger pattern with black and tan.

Shearing....

Buck Emily Emily Naked Girls

For many years we did a lot of shearing our selves, now Emily of Chamelin Shearing is our shearer. She dose a fantastic job, and it is really something to see.

Our Big snowy winter...

In the beginning When they could still go outside Just 10 inches or so here Flocka Mercy

These are from the beginning of the snow, before the several feet -- when the trees looked pretty and the animals could still go outside.

Kids...

At play Sir Issac SaraLynn

It is very hard to evaluate the worth of a goat as a tiny kid, there is so much needed information about fiber and health that has to be still proven. However, it is so so hard not to fall completely head over heels for goat kids - so silly, soft, and sweet.
